MyDyas
Loyalty Scheme

MyDyas is the first Robert Dyas Loyalty Scheme. The concept and the first round of POS was delivered in record time, but what makes this project so precious to me is seeing how the initial idea morphed and grew with the passing of time and with the influence of different people in the team. Is a real testimony of how work together brings you further.

Robert Dyas had been planning to launch a Loyalty Scheme for over a year. An agency created the initial campaign concept, which was set to launch a few months after I joined Robert Dyas. For my first project, the team asked me to develop an alternative idea for the campaign without seeing the agency's approach. The goal was to find a fresher and bolder option for the Loyalty Scheme. Thanks to the entire team, this initial idea evolved and blossomed into what MyDyas is today.

_Objectives

Our goals were to create a fresh and bold look that brightens up the stores and to design a comprehensive asset kit that could be used both online and offline across multiple channels and platforms without losing its identity.

_Concept

The original concept was inspired by the image of a door opening in a dark blue room, revealing a bright gold world of exclusive pricing. This visual of a door leading to a room full of treasures inspired the use of blue gradients and a gold flux to symbolize the light and the gold treasure behind the door. The card with the logo represents the classic loyalty card used when signing up for any loyalty scheme.

_Key Elements

The key elements of MyDyas are the 3D-looking card with the logotype and the swoosh. Over the years, the swoosh has evolved to give a fresher look to newer elements and adapt to various formats, but its essence remains unchanged. Additionally, we've incorporated multiple secondary elements into the main creative over the years. Among these are the 3D icons, initially used online and now a crucial asset for showcasing exclusive pricing and points.

_Outcome

As mentioned earlier, MyDyas' creative elements were not finalized in one go but adapted and evolved over the course of a year. We are currently celebrating the scheme's first anniversary, and the asset pack now appears to be well-established, strong, and recognizable across all touchpoints. A comprehensive visual guideline and asset library have been compiled and illustrated to serve as a blueprint for the future, providing a starting point for any new assets that will need to be created.
